Most of her time outside of work is spent with her husband (another Greendale High School graduate) and young son. They currently have 2 cats and a turtle in the family as well.
Dr. Christina Benton
I grew up in the Milwaukee area, and have strong ties to this community. Before vet school, I volunteered at the Elm-Brook Humane Society, and worked at the Wisconsin Humane Society as well as the Animal Emergency Center (now Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists).
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2011. After graduation, I was happy to return back to the Milwaukee area to practice medicine.
I joined the team at Advanced Animal Hospital in April 2012. My specific interests include surgery, behavior, dermatology, and ophthalmology. I live with my partner, Katie, as well as 2 cats (Data and Phoebe), a guinea pig (Newton), and a ball python (Orion). In my free time, I enjoy gardening, painting, watching the Packers, and spending time with family. I look forward to seeing you and your pet!
